I recently had the pleasure of joining co-hosts Nate Hedrick and David Bright on the Your Financial Pharmacist (YFP) Real Estate Investing Podcast. During our conversation, I shared my perspective as both a pharmacist and a new real estate agent, reflecting on what it’s been like to take on a completely new venture.
We discussed the value of embracing challenges, leaning into the discomfort of unfamiliar territory, and how stepping outside of our comfort zones can open the door to growth and new opportunities. It was a great discussion about the mindset needed to navigate change and take bold steps forward.
Population Health - Where to Begin & Where We Are Going (featured on WSPA)
I had the pleasure of joining the Washington State Pharmacy Association (WSPA) Ambulatory Care Academy Podcast for a conversation on the rapidly growing field of population health. I was joined by Rebecca West, PharmD, and Raina Ensign, PharmD, as we shared our experiences from different areas of pharmacy practice.
Together, we explored how both ambulatory care and managed care pharmacists are uniquely positioned to improve patient outcomes by looking beyond clinical care and addressing the social and economic factors that shape overall health at the population level. It was an engaging discussion on the evolving role of pharmacists in advancing healthier communities.
